Rachel Frost is a Brazilian-American actor and director. Born and raised in the Bay Area, she has always sought to highlight the interconnectedness of the modern world from a multi-disciplinary and intersectional approach. Rachel began her artistic journey as a singer in the Piedmont East Bay Children's Choir followed by a year in Paris singing at the Sorbonne. Upon return to the United States, she studied at Los Angeles City College's Theater Academy where she participated in Irene Ryan Scholarship nominated performances as Elizabeth Bennet in Pride and Prejudice and Sofie Peterson in the Theatre Movement Bazaar's adaptation of Platonov by Anton Chekhov. In 2019 she began her journey as a director, translating the Brazilian play String of Endless Love into English and directing its American debut. In 2022 she transferred to UCLA's School of Theater, Film and Television with an emphasis in Acting and Directing where she has since debuted in A List of Happenings. You can now find her leading rehearsals for classes exclusive to the competitive Directing Continuum, assistant stage managing Fairview by Jackie Sibblies Drury, or preparing for the acting showcase which will be presented this Spring. She expects to graduate with honors this June.

I intend to pursue, create, and engage in work that elevates the multitude of worlds within the Latina experience to analyze the liminality of existence in the past, present, and future of a globalized world.
